For the expansion of our IT Team in Germany we are looking for a
Senior System Administrator (m/w/d) for our Center of Excellence
YOUR FUNCTIONS:
- Proactively troubleshoot and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and identify areas for continual improvement.
- Provide 2nd & 3rd level IT support and participate in the scheduled on-call rotation
- Actively claim, triage, and resolve IT tickets and contribute to the teams overall SLA matrixes.
- Configure, install, hardware upgrade and review infrastructure systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure systems and business applications for advanced notification of potential issues and identify and recommend proactive resolutions
- Recognize roadblocks and work to resolve them before they impact schedules
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, a related subject or equivalent experience
- At least 3 year's experience in hardware and software troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows, and Linux operating systems, Veeam, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, VMWare and Monitoring Tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Business fluent in English
