Business Development Manager (m/w/d) - MedTech

YOUR TASK:                
  • Develop and execute strategic account mapping and penetration plans for key MedTech companies
  • Create comprehensive European MedTech market overviews, identifying trends, key players, and the competitive landscape
  • Design strategies to address specific market needs based on market intelligence
  • Partner with the sales team to identify and capture expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate on a global scale within IPG to understand market dynamics and implement best practices in the EU region
  • Align regional strategies with IPG's global go-to-market approach
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across multiple levels in target organizations
  • Represent IPG Photonics at industry events and technical conferences
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree advantageous
  • 5+ years' experience in business development or technical sales within MedTech
  • Strong market analysis capabilities and strategic thinking
  • Knowledge of European medical device regulations (MDR/IVDR)
  • Experience with European MedTech market dynamics and procurement processes
  • Understanding of laser technologies in medical applications
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other major European language
